I started off with trying to find fabrics within my desired color palette and then this project took on a life of its own. My color theme had surprisingly changed but the results are beautiful! With Jessica's stylish patterns and my fabric finds I've created a chic romantic look for my girls. I must admit that a lot of my fabrics were already in my stash and my favorite purchase would be the french terry I purchased to make the Peek-a-Boo Hoodie. I wish I had purchased enough to make one for me.
The color palatte I ended up with. Thank you Sherwin-Williams! |
The goal was to produce a cohesive look using mostly Lil Luxe patterns. Actually all the patterns I used are from the Lil Luxe Collection and these patterns are so fun to work with! So here we go from left to right:
- Peek-a-Boo Hoodie
- Slim Trousers in a denim floral print
- Socialite Peplum
- Haute Short
- Lakeshore Crop Jacket
- Modern Belle Dress in a pink taffeta
- Rouche & Divide in a knit fabric
- Slim Trousers in black corduroy
I just love the zipper detail at the bottom of the slim trousers. and the pocket of this hoodie!
I made theRouche & Divide top in a soft knit. Amelia put it on and said right away that it felt cozy. The details on this top are the rouched sleeve ad the inverted pleat at the back. So pretty, so sweet!
The cowl neck on this peplum top adds such a cute style to any outfit but pairing the top with the Haute Shorts is cuteness overlaod when put on Amelia.
This classic houndstooth jacket and pink taffeta dress is just perfect for JubeJube. This is her style, this is what she picked out as being her favorite.
After seeing all these pretty outfits you'll want to make you way to Lil Luxe Collection and enter the giveaway with over $350.00 in prizes. Also more in the series to be seen so take a look at the other participants in this adventure!
