March is already underway and since the beginning of the month I've been hidden away in the snow and mountains at my aunt's. Taking a short break from sliding and and shoveling snow to show you Eller a PDF pattern by Blaverry.
This little peplum top designed for knit fabrics is the perfect quick sew to add some fun to an end of winter wardrobe.
As usual Blaverry offers such a great size range (size 2T - 16 years), layered printing and easy to follow instructions.
JubeJube agrees, she needs more of these in her wardrobe to get her through to the warmer weather.
Until next time, xx.

Bobbi & Sami by Blaverry
A little while ago when I posted the Back to School Capsule Wardrobe I showed a bit of a sneak peek of Bobbi Boyfriend jeans by Blaverry. They are now available along with Sami raglan top (and Fallon moto leggings that I haven't yet been able to photograph on JubeJube).
As usually Christie had hit the mark by adding so many fun details to a simple raglan top. Extra long sleeves to create ruching, color blocking and side vents are just some of the features of this design along with a huge size range (2t -16years) to cover toodler to tweens in the family.
The jeans also have the same wide range of sizes available in the pattern. You can also expect to find the layering feature in every pattern so you print only the size you want or need.
Again you can expect to find so much detail in the jeans including the penny pocket.
The fit is perfect and the instructions so easy to follow. I may never buy another pair of ready to wear jeans for the girls again.
Its took some convincing for JubeJube to get in front of the camera, when she's not in school she's much too busy taking it easy but we had so much fun because she was really in the mood for a shoot and she just couldn't wait to weat her new top to school.
Stay tuned for a few more new patterns by Blaverry in the coming weeks...I can tell you there are at least 3 more patterns (2 tops and 1 bottom) because I did help test them...but there may be more.
Until next time, xx.

Finn by Blaverry
A couple of weeks ago I posted (here) about the appliqué featured in the No.7 issue of One Thimble. Well some have asked what pattern I used to make the top. Finn by Blaverry was the perfect canvas for this pattern, it came out exactly as I expected.
Until next time, xx
JubeJube loves this top to be able to wear it with leggings...comfort and style all in one. Amelia is begging for a top in this style too now. She adores the the girliness of the gathered peplum.
I went with a short sleeve option for the weather this time of year. I do love that the long sleeve option and 3/4 length sleeve are offered in the pattern.
Here are some of the patter details:
- Sizes range from 2T - 16 years
- layered printing so you just print out the sizes you need/want
- Tech drawings included with the step-by-step instrcutions
- designed for knit fabrics
- different sleeve options available
- 3/8" seam allowances included
- all charts for fabric requirements and body measurements are in metric and imperial
Take a look at the rest of the collection Christie has created for Blaverry...all just so unique...I just want to sew all of them up.
So far I have been able to show you Star, Hayden, Clara, Baylen and Ansley...What's next? Maybe Koko & Ollie or maybe Maddox?...Oh decision!
Until next time, xx

Blaverry New Releases: Baylen
Yesterday was launch day for a bunch of new PDF patterns by Blaverry and I featured Star and Hayden, today I'll be showing you Baylen. This sweet little top is perfect for summer or can be worn year round layered over a t-shirt.
The yoke is lined and has two buttons at the back. The back scallops overlap. This is really one of those girly designs that I love so much!
Here are just some details Christie includes in her all her PDF patterns:

Blaverry New Releases: Hayden
Today is a huge day for Blaverry PDF Patterns...So many new patterns will be added to the pattern shop. I was able to help out on testing of a few of them and today I'm showing off my Hayden skirt and Star top. Although Star is not a brand new pattern work has been done to it, the size range in a lot larger now!
The Hayden skirt is a beautiful gathered skirt with inseam pockets and snaps down the left side of the skirt. The skirt waistband as tested doesn't have an elastic at the back but darn sure that one can be put in if desired.
Here are just some details Christie includes in her all her PDF patterns:
Ok, I just have to point this out, have you ever seen a five-year-old pose like this! I swear I didn't coach her.
Ok, one last thing, go check out Blaverry, like them on facebook to keep up with new releases, and be sure to take advantage of the new release sale going on NOW!
Until next time, xx.
Star is a slim fit boatneck tee with half sleeves. A facing is used at the neckline to create that slight curve. I top stitched using a twin needle around the neckline and the bottom hem and sleeves. Just so you know this is a size 4 meant for Amelia, but it didn't go over her head (she does have a bit of a bigger head) BUT it did go very nicely without effort over JubeJube's head, who is now moving in to size 5.
This top is quite long no worries that you'll have exposed tummies or backs even if the bottoms are a lower rise.
